The Worcester Street car park site (owned by Nuffield College) and the surrounding area is a relatively overlooked part of the city centre and a site of possible regeneration within the West End. The close proximity?? to to the Castle site means this part of Oxford has been integral to our military and industrial history since Saxon times. As with the development of the neighbouring Macclesfield House site, any proposals for the regeneration of this area will foster a sense of continuity with its remarkable heritage.
