The West End logo has been developed with a mix of contemporary and traditional typography to reflect the idea of old interacting with new - a key principle of the Oxford West End regeneration. Graphic representations of water and greenery emphasise the importance of these features in the future West End and the leaf motif also represents the concept of regrowth and new beginnings. The four colours within the mark reflect the vibrancy and diversity of the new quarter.
