A document considering possible regeneration opportunities at Gloucester Green Square and Cinema was reviewed by Oxford City Council's Executive Board in 2007. Whilst the cinemas on George Street and Magdalen Street have undergone major interior refurbishment, there are no plans at present to redevelop the George Street entrance to Gloucester Green, the Square itself, or the adjacent Gloucester Green Bus Station.
